This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit creditmeadow.com (the "Site"), how it is used and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
You don't need an account to read CreditMeadow. We do not ask for your name, address, Social Security number or financial account details, and we ask you not to send them to us.
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and our content delivery and security provider automatically receive basic technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. We use this information to deliver pages, keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and understand which pages are read.
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the Site.
Quizzes
Some pages offer a short optional quiz. It opens on top of a guide, every reader sees the same quiz on the same page, and you can close it at any time. To understand how quizzes are used, the Site records quiz activity together with a random session identifier: which quiz was opened, which question numbers were answered, the result shown and the page it ran on. The answer options you pick are not recorded, and quizzes never ask for your name, contact details or financial information. The Site stores a small note in your browser's session storage so that a quiz you closed is not shown again during the same visit.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. The Site sets its own cookies that hold a random visitor identifier and a random session identifier, and, if you arrived through a link that carries campaign parameters (for example, a campaign name or a click identifier), those parameters. We use them to count visits and quiz activity and to tell which link brought a visit. Session cookies expire after two hours; the visitor identifier expires after six months. The Site itself does not currently use advertising cookies. Our content delivery and security provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary to protect the Site from malicious traffic.
Advertising
We may show advertising on the Site to keep it free. If we do, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and other sites on the internet.

We keep server logs only as long as needed for security and operations, and then delete them. We keep emails for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can clear session storage by closing your browser tab. The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
